It seems that the security of the streaming videos of the well-known firm Ring improves by adding the end-to-end encryption, also known as “end-to-end”. In this way, some of the security cameras of the firm that is owned by Amazon will have a security plus.
This type of encryption is already active in the videos that are stored in the Ring cloud and that are obviously owned by the users, but now also add this encryption on several of your cameras.
The firm that is well known by users of this type of cameras and home security elements, continues to work to implement the best possible protection measures and now increases security with this option that we have available in Ring’s own App. The cameras that have this option available are:
- Ring Video Doorbell Pro
- Ring Video Doorbell Elite
- Ring Floodlight Cam
- Ring Spotlight Cam Wired
- Stick Up Cam Plug In
- Stick Up Cam Elite
- Indoor Cam
Activation is simple and the user can do it from any iOS or Android device, always from the app. For this you have to follow these steps:
- Select video encryption option and click on advanced settings
- Turn on end-to-end video encryption and get started
- We follow the instructions on the screen to register as users of the End-to-End Video Encryption bread and create a new password
In this way, we will only have to add the Ring cameras and finish the process with the steps indicated on the screen. Now we will have I turn on end-to-end encryption on our cameras.
