Today Apple officially completes the current iPhone line-up: the iPhone 12 mini and the iPhone 12 Pro Max are available for purchase. The company now covers the two opposite poles of the new series: the iPhone 12 mini has the same range of functions as the iPhone 12 Pro Max in most areas, but is the cheapest model – the 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, already costs a hefty price in the basic configuration 1,217.50 euros, but has three camera lenses and a 47 percent larger wide-angle sensor. The demand for the new devices seems to be great once again.
High expectations for the camera of the iPhone 12 Pro Max
New Zealand and Australia are nine hours ahead of Germany – and, as always, are the first countries where customers can receive their new iPhones. Both there and there, customers pay special attention to the size of the devices and the camera: Many customers have very high demands on the iPhone 12 Pro Max when it comes to the quality of the photos. And so you can already find the first pretty impressive snapshots of the flagship model on Twitter – for example from Rene Ritchie. Numerous users respond to their first impression of the phone’s housing – or, to be more precise, the size of the housing: the Pro Max seems huge to many – the user Kirk Burgess ironically comments on his new phone, saying that he can also use the device as a shield.
Customers liked the shape of the iPhone 12 mini
The smallest model is a bit of a headache for some users: They worry about the battery life of the 12 mini. According to media reports, the battery capacity of the small smartphone is rather tight. The shape, however, knows how to inspire: Many users are surprised at how ergonomic Apple’s 5.4-inch device is – and are reminded of earlier times when hand-flatterers of this size were still common. In fact, the iPhone 12 mini is smaller than an iPhone SE (2020) – but comes with a lot more power than Apple’s entry-level device.
