iPhone 12, Apple’s most powerful smartphone
On October 13, during its annual keynote, Apple finally introduced the new iPhone 12. This year the Cupertino company chose to launch four versions on the market: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, 12 Pro and Pro Max, the latter two being touted as “the most powerful of all time.”
The new iPhone 12 and 12 Pro feature the company’s latest chipset, the 5-nanometer A14 Bionic. This processor has more than 11.8 million transistors, 3 thousand more in relation to the A13; 16 cores make up its neural engine and boosts its processing power 50 percent more than the iPhone 11.
Beyond the performance of its chipset, one of the features that Apple highlights of its new devices is its 5G connectivity compatibility.
