iFixit has taken a close look at the structure of the AirPods Max – and has now finished the analysis. AirPods Max quite easy to repair

Subsequently, however, the construction proves to be reasonably easy to repair: The specialists award six out of ten points. Given the other AirPods models, all of which scored zero and are designed as disposable products, that’s an astonishingly high rating. Incidentally, iFixit also compares the structure of the AirPods Max with popular over-ears from Sony and Bose – and comes to an interesting conclusion: With their complicated, precision-made parts, the AirPods Max were more reminiscent of a mechanical watch than headphones.
