Apple’s podcast app is an integral part of the ecosystem: Whether on iOS, iPadOS, macOS or even tvOS – most users of an Apple device are familiar with the purple application. However, this service is not used on conventional websites – at least until now: Via the “Apple Podcasts Marketing Tools“For the first time, any podcasts can be embedded on a website. There are four different sizes of the player’s user interface to choose from – there is also a dark version for Safari. Users can browse newly published episodes and play them if necessary – users can also log in with their Apple ID.
Anyone who accesses a corresponding page with the iPhone, iPad or Mac can also open the podcast via the app. In fact, this is not absolutely necessary: the player is equipped with almost all the functions of the application and, among other things, allows you to fast forward and rewind by 30 or 15 seconds. While Safari shows no problem with the integration of the podcasts, other browsers such as Chrome still seem to have problems.
Further animal documentation: “Earth At Night In Color”
Apple seems to have taken a liking to animal documentaries: when the streaming service Apple TV + was launched, viewers were able to take a look at the life of the 50-year-old elephant Athena – unsurprisingly, the documentary bears the title The mother elephant. Since October of this year, the little inhabitants of the world have been given full attention: Tiny World knows how to convince with spectacular close-ups. From December 4th there will be another new addition: Earth At Night In Color.
The six-part series was set to music in English by British actor Tom Hiddleston and once again focuses on animals. The recordings should come from all parts of the world, using particularly powerful cameras. As the title suggests, night shots play a particularly important role.
